Rebecca Losli is President of Illinois American Water, the largest investor-owned water utility in the state, providing water and /or wastewater service to approximately 1.3 million people. In this role, Losli reinforces and strengthens customer, regulatory and local government relationships, drives operational and financial results and is the principal external contact for American Water in Illinois.

Prior to her current role, Losli served as Vice-President of Engineering and Business Development for Missouri American Water where she oversaw all engineering activities including Capital Planning, GIS Management, Asset Management, Project Delivery, Operational Support, and Environmental Compliance Support. In this role she also had responsibility for Business Development. Before joining American Water, Losli served as the Program Manager for Program Planning for the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, Water Regional Global Practice Leader for Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, and President of Losli Engineering.

Rebecca serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois Utilities Business Diversity Council, the St. Louis Urban League, the Engineers’ Club of St. Louis, and Advisory Board for the McKelvey School of Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis.  Rebecca has a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering all from Washington University and she also has a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Samford University.
