Gotham Greens, a three-year old urban agriculture company, plans to spend $1 million to expand its manufacturing capacity in Chicago’s Pullman neighborhood.

The Chicago Department of Buildings approved a permit for the expansion at 10636 S. Woodlawn Ave. It will add 49,000 square feet to the 100,000-square-foot facility.

Heitman Architects is the project’s design firm and Arco Murray is the general contractor. No start date has been set for construction.
