The Fields Studios

The Fields Studios, a new film studio expected to open in the former Marshall Fields warehouse on Chicago’s Northwest Side in the first quarter of 2024, will feature nine soundstages totaling 132,000 square feet (ranging from 12,000 to 18,000 square feet). Flexible configurations with collapsible interior stage doors will be able to create a 36,000-square-foot stage with 35-foot ceiling heights for the largest soundstage in the city, according to developers.

The studio also includes a 5,000-square-foot stage for commercial shoots, music videos and other smaller productions, plus more than 350,000 square feet of creative and production offices.
